I call this the Nightmare Monkey, because this project was definitely a lesson in patience! I was not sure if I had read the pattern correctly until the last bit of stuffing went in, and was relieved that he actually looked like a monkey! Add in the fact that I chose some really difficult wool to work with (the colours are beautiful, but the yarn kept breaking off mid-stitch) and I was tempted to abandon this project many times. However, the end result ended up being pretty good, and my eighteen year old son has claimed his as his own. So I guess the nightmare was worthwhile in the long run!

Punkin Head
I knit this up the past weekend, for a friend from work who is having an October baby. I used the Punkin Head pattern by Tara Thomsen, that I found through the Ravelry website. It was so easy, and fun to do! I can't wait to see how it looks on the new baby!

Well, I spent some time on my summer vacation this year creating some new collaged cards. I have had lots of fun with some new techniques. As usual, my cards are all blank inside, so that each person can write their own custom message.
My cards are $5 each, or 5 for $20 (with shipping extra)
Please let me know if you are interested in any of these cards, or if you would like me to create a custom card for you! I love working with specific photos that you may have!
